Areas of Research Interests/ Research Projects

Long engaged in boiler research, with a focus on gas-liquid two-phase flow, heat transfer, and hydrodynamics, as well as gas-solid two-phase flow, combustion and gasification, heat transfer, and combustion pollutant control.

Research covers a wide variety of fuels, including: Gaseous fuels such as natural gas, hydrogen-containing gases, and ultra-low calorific value gases; liquid fuels such as alcohols, oils, and coal-water slurry; and solid fuels such as coal, gangue, biomass, and solid waste.
